Dell Kills Off vWorkspace Suite

The Geeksultant's picture

When Dell and EMC announced their merger last year, I knew that vWorkspace Suite had to go. There was no room for a cheaper version of VDI in the portfolio when you just added an 80% stake in VMware and are a partner with Citrix and Microsoft as well. It was an inevitable conclusion. It was simpler to deploy and maintain than it's competitors and included 90% of what end users needed, right out of the box.
